Natus Vincere star Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev is the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of StarSeries i-League Season 4 by HLTV.org and betway.
The 20-year-old won the race for the award with a dominant display in the grand final, averaging a 1.56 rating and 98.0 damage - which, however, was not enough for his team to beat MOUZ.
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, who had 1+ ratings in 19 of the 22 games he played in Kiev, was the joint highest-rated player in the tournament at 1.32, together with Timothy "autimatic" Ta and Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, and was in the top five in 12 other stats categories, leading six of them, including most clutches won (19), opening kills (100) and opening duel success (75.8%).
With his impressive displays, s1mple beat MOUZ trio Miikka "suNny" Kemppi, Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný and Robin "ropz" Kool, all of whom stood out in the team's title-winning campaign.
s1mple now has his third MVP award - he won his first two at ESL One New York 2016 and at DreamHack Winter 2017. He also becomes the first player to win an MVP medal despite not being part of the winning team of the tournament.
